This methodology is the result of the project VH20202021056 – Minimization of risks of events in socially important buildings, which was supported by the Security Research Program for State Needs of the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic.
The project was handled by our experts within the research activity of the International Institute for Security. From the organizer point of view, the methodology offers criteria according to which it is possible to assess the risk of practically any standard public event held in the Czech Republic. Subsequently, the methodology presents a set of practical measures that can be applied at different risk levels of a specific event. As part of the project, a software tool was also created that enables the quickly perform above-mentioned risk analysis and identify relevant measures.
We believe that the work done will lead to an increase in the standard and level of safety in organizing public social events.
