During the Plenary – October I 2018 session of the European Parliament, the European Parliament has to vote on the agreed text Freezing and confiscation orders reached during the trialogue. The reason is the poor implementation of the current EU freezing and confiscation measure of property from criminal activity, leading to their inadequate enforcement and insufficient protection of victims‘ rights.
