Prague , June 2 2021 – The International Institute for Security (MBI) has expanded its expert team
with prominent personalities of the Czech security scene Oldřich Krulík and Tomáš Koníček. Crime prevention projects are among the first joint challenges in which both experts will be involved.
“I am happy that we have started cooperation with such established experts on security and defense
issues as Tomáš Koníček and Oldřich Krulík,” says Chairman of the Management Board JUDr. Rudolf Blažek about the expansion of the team of experts of the International Institute for Security. “Their expertise will help to further improve and support our current services, including extending the focus of the International Institute for Security to new areas of security,” adds Rudolf Blažek.
Doc. Mgr. Oldřich Krulík, Ph.D., is a graduate of Charles University and the Police Academy.
In academic circles and state institutions, he focuses primarily on management, security policy and crime prevention.
Throughout his professional career, JUDr. Tomáš Koníček has been dedicated to crime prevention,
protection of property and persons, crisis management and protection of soft targets in the security forces
of the state (Ministry of the Interior and the Police of the Czech Republic). He is a co-author of the nationwide Safe Location program. He chairs the Technical Standardization Commission for Crime Prevention
and Civil Protection of the Office for Technical Standardization, Metrology and State Testing. Together with other experts, he participates in the definition of standards in the field of crime prevention. He is the author or co-author of professional publications and methodologies in the field of security standards for crisis management.
